These boots are specifically designed for scrambling and Via Ferrata - offering a closers fit and modified sole units ideal for the more precise footwork required when undertaking these activities. They are also ideal for alpine walking and easier winter routes - being compatible with flexible walking crampons they will cope with winter walking and glacier crossing.
